It’s taken me a while to come here and leave this review. I had a horrible experience with this doctor. She always seemed in a rush at my appointments and she always looked annoyed. I look younger than I actually am so I guess she didn’t take me serious? Not sure but thats my guess. She always spoke to other people so nicely when she would go into their room but would get straight to he point with me. On the day I gave birth they admitted me, it was a Tuesday at about 2-3pm I had my baby naturally, but she kept telling me to get an epidural, I didn’t want it because I wanted to experience giving birth. She even told me “just because other people tell you not to take it doesn’t mean you don’t have to, not everyone can handle it” first of all everyone I knew kept telling me that I was most likely going to get it because they were painting birth as this horrible thing. I kept saying no. She kept rushing in and out of the room and had these annoyed looks like I was taking my time. Time went by, I gave birth at 1 am with no epidural but right after the birth she stuck her hand inside me it was the most horrible thing ever. I would say it hurt more than birth itself. She didn’t slowly place her hand in there she pushed it in with force, and remember I had just given birth minutes before. My body jerked up in pain. While doing that she had the audacity to say “this is why women wish they would have gotten the epidural” the thing is I could have handled it if she would have done it right, I have a very high pain tolerance, not stuffed in there like I was a turkey. Later I realized the reason why she seemed annoyed and in a hurry during my birth was because her shift ended at midnight of that day and she had to stay 1 hour later. The thing is when a baby wants to come into this world is not up to you, it just happens. I never went back not even for the 6 week check up because I was kind of traumatized. Now I’ve been struggling to find a new obgyn because I want my next experience to be a great one. Having a baby should be joyous and something you shouldn’t want to forget. Unfortunately I didn’t have that. The nurses on the other hand specially Ida at the hospital was amazing, I’m so glad she was the one to stay with me through the entire labor and delivery. She was encouraging me and giving me good vibes. Good Luck to the new moms looking for an OB!

The staff was very friendly, but I felt like she rushed through my appointment and wasn't very warm, when she inserted the speculum (sp?) she shoved it in and I jerked because it hurt. As a first time mom at my first appointment I really wanted to feel like she was somewhat excited or at least not annoyed.
